Compulsory Booking
Due to an enormous increase in cases during the last six months, the Embassy will implement compulsory booking for all applicants that are coming to hand in applications for Visas or Work / Residence permits.
How to book an apointment
The easiest way to book an appointment is to use the Application Portal and fill in the application form online, pay the fee (using Visa or MasterCard) and then book an appointment.
For more information on how to use the Application Portal, please click here.
Residence Permit for Denmark or Iceland
Applicants who intend to apply for a Residence Permit for Denmark or Iceland cannot use the Portal and must therefore call the Embassy on 02 982 2700 to request an appointment.
No Internet Access or Payment Card (VISA / MasterCard)
The Application Portal is open both for Applicants and Sponsors. It is already many sponsors (individuals and companies) who are registering their visitor(s) on the Portal. When the job is done, the sponsor receives a Cover Letter by e-mail which he / she forwards to the applicant. The applicant signs the Cover letter and brings it to the Embassy along with the required supporting documents at their booked appointment.
There are a number of Internet Cafès around in the Philippines and a large amount in and around Makati.
Applicants who do not have a Payment Card (VISA / MasterCard) could also ask their sponsor in Norway / Denmark / Iceland to do this job for them.
All applicants (apart from Residence Permits to Denmark or Iceland) are expected to use the Portal. However, if anyone for some reason is unable to use the Portal, they may call 02 982 2700 to request an appointment.
Please note that Portal Applicants will be given priority and only a low number of appointments will be allocated each day to Non-Portal Applications.
